Surrounded by a wall of tall, green trees, Candler Park is a lovely residential community, east of the city core. Nestled between Little Five Points, Edgewood, Lake Claire, and Druid Hills, the neighborhood is home to the homonymous park, which spreads over 55 acres of green space and is home to a nine-hole golf course, basketball court, swimming pool, tennis courts, and play areas.
The neighborhood is dominated by old craftsman bungalows and some red-brick, white-trim buildings, both complementing the natural feel of the neighborhood.
